Organization Development

We offer a full range of organization development services, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, feedback, and follow-on action, in such disciplines as conflict resolution, focus groups, surveys, and team building.

Department/Program Development / Measurement / Evaluation

Department/Program Evaluation: We can assess organizational effectiveness, structure, resource allocation, teamwork, responsiveness to your customers and other appropriate factors through document research, interviews and group discussions, surveys, comparable agency analysis and analysis of best-in-class organizations. From this, we can develop recommendations and action plans. Department, Program,and/or Project Planning and Development: We can assist in department/program/project planning, design, implementation, and evaluation.

We can ensure approaches that link Department/program/project goals and objectives to business requirements, assess risk, closely monitor progress and involve key stakeholder groups. epartment/Program Performance and Outcome Measurements: We can assist organizations in developing and implementing performance measurement approaches that consider, both quantitative and qualitative results. We can also specify approaches and methods to evaluate outcomes of policies and programs that are intended to affect the behavior of groups and individuals statewide.

Focus Groups

We conduct focus groups for marketing, community outreach, employee attitudes, and customer service response. We can develop the samples, arrange specialized facilities, provide facilitators,employ video tape, two way mirrors or make them fully anonymous. These Focus groups typically involve no more than twelve people at a time and can utilize questionnaires, rating forms and product samples.

Conflict Resolution

We are experienced in providing both inter and intra-unit conflict management assistance, using objective, collaborative strategies to facilitate, negotiate and/or mediate disputes. In assessing the issue, our professionals conduct interviews with impacted stakeholders and develop a summary briefing package that includes: potential issues; stakeholder interests, including those that are shared, conflicting or different, and; potential points of conflict that may impede the process.

We present findings to the client and develop an executable action plan on how to proceed. In facilitating resolution, we conduct meetings using a collaborative approach to resolve conflict between stakeholders. If needed, we may educate clients on using an interest-based approach to resolve conflict.

Strategic Planning

We conduct complete Strategic Planning modalities that range from foundational corporate startup to ongoing annual facilitation. We choose from a broad range of generally accepted models, and develop full external and internal scanning, SWOT analysis, program development, measurement systems and others.

Conference and Meeting facilitation

We are experienced in conference and meeting and design and facilitation for organizations that have a need to conduct leadership and staff conferences in order to educate, inform, solicit input or build consensus with leaders and stakeholders on key issues. We collect and assess client, participant and stakeholders needs, develop an analysis and summary of the data, and meet with client to present the results of the analysis. We can develop conference agendas highlighting the purpose and outcomes, topics and issues to be covered, timeframes and responsible parties, and if desired, develop cost benefit analyses. We can manage conference logistics, and overseeing all sub-contractors to ensure the conference runs smoothly, including audio and visual operations, catering, and addressing facility problems, etc.

In addition, we can handle registration, provide pre- and post-mailing services for delivery of conference materials to participants, and manage the coordination of presenters and presentation materials prior to and during the conference. We can facilitate the conference and provide written conference minutes to the client, provide periodic debriefs to the client during the conference., and prepare debrief and evaluation reports at the end of the conference.

Training and Development Services

The Wilson Group Training Academy provides "Targeted" staff training services, filling specific professional, career development, technical training and facilitation needs of departments and agencies throughout even the most remote locations in the government marketplace.

We provide training as well as "train-the trainer" instruction and mentoring in communications, orientation, customer service, career development, leadership, executive development, critical thinking, problem solving, diversity management and more. We will also develop and deploy custom seminars, courses and training programs that may be demanded by your unique circumstances within thirty days of your formal request
